For more information on the Classic teams vs the Rec+ teams, see the home page of the website. For practical purposes, the teams, with their coaches, are listed below. Registration fees are as follows - $100 for Classic teams (playing in the CIYSL and GIRLS leagues) and $85 for Rec+ teams. Uniforms are $70 for two complete uniforms (for the Classic teams) and $30 for the Rec+ teams. Coaching fees would be added to the registration and uniform fees (if uniforms are required). Coaching fees and uniform fees may be adjusted (down) between now and the beginning of the season, depending on turnout of players and some other cost-saving options we are exploring.
Boys teams
U10 - Rec+ league - Fred Center and Andy Personette - volunteer coach - no coaching fee
U12 - Rec+ league - Darin Brown - volunteer coach - no coaching fee
U13 - CIYSL league - AA (?) division - Jerry Greenwood - volunteer coach - no coaching fee
U15 - CIYSL league - AA (?) division - Jacob White (NC HS coach) - paid coach - $125 coaching fee
U15 - CIYSL league - AAA division - Jim Stoughton (licensed coach from Centerville) - volunteer coach - no coaching fee
U17 - CIYSL league - AA (?) division - Paid coach (maybe Challenger British coach) - $125 coaching fee
Girls teams
U10 - Rec+ league - Katie Grear (HS assistant coach) - vounteer coach - no coaching fee
U12 - Rec+ league - Coach to be determined - may have Paid or volunteer coach - $0 - $100 coaching fee
U12 - GIRLS league - A division - Paid coach (maybe Challenger British coach) - $150 coaching fee
U14 - Rec+ league - Chris Tillett (HS Girls coach) - volunteer coach - no coaching fee - may add a second team if required

If you are still not sure of your team, please feel free to register in the "Don't know/not sure of team and/or coach" section. You will be charged the minimum fees, but might have to pay an increased fee if your child decides to play on a Classic team.
You must pay a registration fee for each child to play. Register your first child at the full "Registration" fee and your second child at the "Registration – Additional child" fee if you have two children playing. If you have more than two children playing, simply choose the "Registration - Additional child" option for each additional child.
Some teams have coaching fees that are paid to their paid coaches. Three Classic teams - U15 AA boys, U17 boys and the U12 girls -will have coaching fees due on 3/15/2010. The U17B and U15B AA coaching fee is $125 per player, while the U12G coaching fee is $150. The difference in the amount of the fees is due to the size of the teams being trained - U12 will have a maximum of 14 players, U15 and U17 will have a maximum of 18 players. Fortunately for the other Classic teams and the Rec+ teams, they have qualified parent volunteers who do not charge for their coaching services.
Important note - Because the number of spots are limited on the Classic teams, players will not have an "official" spot on a team until their registration has been paid in full. Registration for classic teams is non-refundable, unless we can find another player to take the reserved spot. If your player registers and decides to not pay the required coaching fee, your registration will not be refunded.
Preference will be given first to past team members (e.g. Fall 2009 team members), then to past club members (played for another team in the club in the past), then to players who attended the tryout for the U15-17 teams. Because of the “6 player rule” for high school players, it is even more important to register quickly to reserve a spot. While we will not be collecting the coaching fee at the time of registration, please acknowledge that you will pay the fee before the season by selecting the "Coaching Fee" option at registration. As stated earlier, your team manager will collect the coaching fee prior to/on 03.15.10.
If your child is playing on a Classic team, he/she will need a home and away jersey (dark and light). One uniform (shorts, shirt and socks) will be forest green and white, while the other uniform (short, shirt and socks) will be white jersey, black shorts, black socks. If you bought new green and/or white uniforms last season, we will be using the same uniforms again this season.
If your child is playing on a Rec+ team, he/she will only need a forest green uniform. If you have any questions re: uniforms, don't order anything and send an e-mail Lisa Loveless at lisa.loveless@sbcglobal.net
